So will we see some actual movement in the coming days on the forward front. News in Italy is that we are still keen on Noah Okafor and also Nico Gonzalez from Juventus who has put in a transfer request due him being played as a wing back and not a winger. Also another striker linked to us? Ermedin Demirovic A big Bosnian who is at Stuttgart and scored 15 last season but isn’t happy as he is rotated a lot as they have 3 strikers. I have had a look at him and he looks ok. I got bored of the usual YouTube stuff like welcome to AC Milan when they tried to buy him 2024. I did watch him score a hatrick 4 months ago and a brace in another clip. He is a real 9 but gets used wide right or wide left at times too

Would be happy with both of those wingers. Can’t see the ST coming to us if he’s not happy being rotated and they have 3 strikers. Gonna be the same for him here unless he shows it on the pitch as we’ll have 4 strikers and no real favourite to start currently.

Spurs don't look great, Burnley look like the same side as last season, don't think that's going to cut it in this league!

Ok West Ham are pretty poor but Sunderland should have a fighting chance Of survival with who they've signed.

That's basically the same 3 that people have gone for in my season prediction thread, other than it's 50/50 between Brentford and Sunderland

I've got the Sunderland game on now and with the way Sunderland are playing I think they might get mid table. We're talking a bounce here

West Ham really dropped a bollock letting Moyes go last summer.

West Ham look a bit like we might do. They had alot of possession, a few shots, plenty of touches in and around the Sunderland area but had no cutting edge.

Sunderland played on the counter and did really well. However, the real tests are yet to come for them. Its a great time to play West Ham but they will surely dip in to the transfer market to improve the attackers. Just like I expect Leeds to do.

Good start from Sunderland. That should inspire some confidence in the new squad.

Good stuff Saf. Great start. West Ham look bang in trouble unless they spend some serious money up top.

I was a tad worried at HT. The pace and movement of the West Ham players was constantly catching us out and they seemed to be in control of the game.

Second half we battered them. All lads from the Championship bagging the goals.

So we get linked to the Bosnian striker who was bought last year for £18m and now that he could leave and go to Leeds they want to charge us £35m. Its a fkg joke and Forest only paid £31m for Kalimuendo FFS

My best mate’s a mackem - I looked at their first 6 fixtures and told him they could be top! You couldn’t have cherrypicked them any better to have a chance of a good start. momentum is everything - and I really don’t like our start.

Monday feels like a must win already!

I have West Ham, Wolves and Brentford as teams who might struggle.

West Ham look to be struggling and haven't really dipped in to the transfer market yet.

Im scouting Wolves as we speak.

We need to send two new teams down, we need Sunderland to steal points, they need us to too. It’s no good cheering Sunderland to lose
