Serious question now, the RL have cancelled Salford's game this weekend stating player welfare reasons as only two of their squad have played in the Super League in the past year. Going by that criteria, why did West Hull play St Helens in the Challenge Cup this year?

They have had bigger crowds than tonight against St Helens a few times. More applications for tickets than ones available.

All I can think of is the League might of thought Saints would put young 'uns out against 'em so the danger wouldn't be so much.

There again I could be talking bullshit. <laugh>

Agree but why are they playing with a bar soap instead of a ball?
The commentators are a laugh...'there's not much on the telly so I imagine viewers are switching on in their thousands'
There's only Liverpool kicking off the new Premier League season live on the main SKY Sports channel.

It will have been a dilemma for Rovers fans, their two favourite teams playing at the same time!
