His update an hour ago on those 2 was that we were 'awaiting confirmation they've been registered by the EFL".
He's teasing an article. His responsibility is to his employer, not to twitter. It'll be out once he's written it up.
Yeah but it’s the journalist equivalent of Patty with his secret streams. ‘I know something you don’t know, doodah, doodah.’
He's got to promote his title. It's just part of the game. They all do it. Would you rather he just said nowt to avoid criticism and we find out at the same time it drops regardless? Or he puts it on twitter and another outlet claims the scoop? At least we know there's some positive news to look forward to this afternoon.
Ajayi being out for 4-6 weeks does nothing to shake the concerns we’ve swapped 2 dependable CBs for 2 with dodgy injury records..
I think it's an obvious concern and not what we'd have done in an ideal world, but I guess just one of the realities of working under the financial circumstances we're in. Selling Kamara before he's really blossomed is another.
ajayi would be in the champions league if he wasnt made of glass we knew that though and we had to sell jones and macca hopefully egan and hughes stay fit mainly
I agree with that fully. Everything seems to change every other day regarding wage caps and business plans etc. All through different videos and tweet replies. I don't see why he doesn't do an actual deep dive article explaining it all, surely that would get the HDM site huge amounts of traffic, which is what they'll request from his work?
I think it was more to do with SJ thinking we needed better than Jones and Macca. Selles also appeared to think the same but had little choice than to use Macca at LB. Imo, they were both correct
But it wouldn’t get the site huge amounts of traffic would it…in fact it would reduce their income so they obviously don’t want him to do that. They earn money from clicks so 10% of the fans clicking on ****ty teasers and half stories 20 times earns them twice as much as every single fan clicking on one well researched and comprehensive article. Until people stop engaging with ****ty clickbait that business model will continue to be the one they use…sadly
If they're 'better', then why didn't Boro snap up Ajayi and Blackburn Famewo on a free instead of paying potentially up to 3m and 500k respectively? They may well be technically better. But the reason they were free is because of their injury records. Not much use on the treatment table, are they?
