I think he’s saying that when a generic club want a player out, they become dead to the club. When a player gets a move and isn’t in the right headspace to play, they become public enemy number 1. I don’t think there’s a dig at Ipswich.

Agree. I don't see it as a dig at all. Just a player explaining that it works both ways - players can want to leave their club, but also clubs can want players to leave. It's just football.
