Born in Princess Marys hospital Newcastle then lived in Washington my entire life, boring but I am proud of my roots, brought up on a council estate by a large working class family. Hate been called a Mackem, I was born a Geordie and brought up in Washington which is half & half. Half my family and friends are Mags so it made for an interesting upbringing ! I had uncles that would watch whoever was at home that week and others that nailed their colours to the mast. Apparently watching the Lads one week then the Mags the week after wasnt unusual back in the 50s & 60s. As for me, 100% red & white, I was indoctrinated from a very young age but bloody loved every minute of it.
Born in Richard Murray hospital Shotley Bridge then Anfield Plain, Leadgate (same class as smug 5 to 8), Delves Lane, Shotley Bridge, Hull 4 years, North London from 79, 8 months Cambridge Mass in 85. Last 2 years back in Shotley Bridge looking after brother with terminal illness (RIP) and mam 94 today!

Born Bishop Auckland moved to Darlington late 70s with work moved to Durham late 80s as wife wanted to be closer to home. Moved to Chester le Street early 90s and still here now although down sizing and moving on has been mentioned quite a few times lately by Mrs W. I think there will be another move in the offing.

Annfield Plain born and grew up in- then a couple of years just south of Manchester then about 26 in Oxfordshire before full circle back to the Plain . Sometimes think I would take a nice deserted island now !
