With this, Mcatee and Hutchinson it would take their spending to around £60 million net so yeah, Fernandes would take them over £100 million net spend

Another one that makes our Dibling demands justifiable, with home grown tax etc

Wild, the PL diddy men trading with each other to the tune of £43m. Expensive place to shop, very unusual for Brentford.

One of those possible winderkid dart throws you fear might work.

I wonder who we are monitoring, loan wise?

Shows why we were so far off as well

This is a player Bournemouth signed for close to our record transfer fee and selling for double. And I think the players they’ve sold for big money all cost at or around our record fee and then they have several more

we got burnt a few times on big fees and then never seemed to want to risk it again. Apart from a handful of times where we aimed too high (Ramos, Gakpo etc)

Bournemouth are selling a lot of their first team starters though. Will be a total rebuild technically, and as we all know, it only takes a bad transfer window, to put yourself in trouble?

Ouattara wasn't a regular starter though. I think they've pulled Brentford's pants down with this deal TBH.

I was going to say. Did he even play that much? Seems like a big fee for someone who was a bit part player for them.

Actually he did make 21 starts last season. More than I thought. But they still have Kluivert and Semenyo so I still think they've got a good deal here.

I'd assume this would make a late loan or sale of Brooks less likely too. Be interesting to see how they get on with all that money this window. If they continue to hit gold then surely their recruitment/sporting director etc. get poached soon.

Well, Villa clearly won't be able to afford Dibling.

His suitors are starting to run out. Bournemouth possibly? Or a move abroad?

There will be ways they can afford him, though. Initial loan with obligation to buy for pre-arranged fee etc. Lots of PL squads looking quite light in terms of wide creativity (I think we know the feeling!)

Still be surprised if he doesn’t end up at Everton, and even more surprised if he doesn’t end up going anywhere
