Restrictions were brought in to stop anyone doing a Chelsea with a rich individual upsetting the apple cart. No one envisaged clubs being bought by states. Though when they are they are now limited as to what they can spend like Newcastle have found.
Regulation Regulation Regulation. Have the premier league reached 14 clubs being American owned yet? When they do it's bye bye to relegation and hello to games being played out of England
Why would we get the money in advance when it’s all numbers floating round between clubs & showing up as ours already on the accounts? If we spend that mythical money, it’s still basically credit isn’t it?
I don't think Frigan was ever coming to us to be fair unless we managed to get a huge transfer money like Greaves (Let's be honest we don't have any asset that would go above 10, may be Hughes in future). It is one of those stories they made up every summer, players that we can't buy but it would look good to fanbase so let's leak it anyway.
Isak has said he wants to go to Liverpool, if they don’t / can’t stump up what Newcastle want he won’t go. Think he’s referring to it on a purely financial basis
That's fine, but I'm suggesting it's not purely paper talk/BS from Acun, the player has a clear interest too.
