Fair enough, his Wiki said centre back/right back and given his height I assumed primarily centre back but know nothing about him
A RB-who-can-play-CB hardly screams to me someone who can play well at RWB. So unless we're planning on reverting to a back four (yes please!), why would be looking at a player with that type of profile? A RWB is much more than just pushing a RB slightly further up the pitch. I do concede though that I know nothing about him, so maybe he's a very component RWB?
I don’t think he does want to play 5 at the back. His whole thing is tactical flexibility, and we don’t exactly have good wingers right now.
Yeah that’s what I was alluding to with Bree and Taylor, both not exactly the physicality required to play traditional WB. Both would be good at knocking longer balls into the box though and I think that’s what they both used to do effectively at Luton and Burnley. Long diagonals from just inside the oppo half type balls, which I think Still will like
Try offering 40k for two of the wheels and then going back with the logic that the car is now not worth much because it only has two wheels so they might as well let you have it. Source: “Negotiation 101” by Wet Spam United
This could see Everton back in for Dibling though, given Hutchinson was rumoured to be their next cab off the rank.
I'm happy that we appear to have more resolve with our demands than Ipswich do. Rejecting a £35m offer, only to then accept a £37.5m offer? They really pushed Forest hard there...
Sounded like Hutchinson was refusing to play so hands tied a bit on that front. So far Dibling and Fernandes hasn’t got to that stage yet
