I'm not really getting what's behind this mandatory eye test for over 70's, Because although I've read this... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ndatory-eye-tests-for-older-drivers-in-the-uk and the number of deaths is accurate for last year 1,633 - how many of those do you think were due to eyesight?.... 6, so whataboutery the other 1,627? Still 6 too many I accept. It says 28,000 injured, nothing no where near that is attributed to poor eyesight. I also checked who was behind support of the mandatory test, none less that Vision Express opticians (publically 6 years ago as reported by The Guardian) oh so they wouldn't have a financial interest in this then. You can be sure if mandatory tests come in that prices will go up, so how will any government ensure this does not happen. I know some help is given in some cases. Commonsense says it's not a bad idea... of course it isn't, but as long affordable and readily available public transport is going to be improved, to ensure people can still get about and that they don't become stranded in their homes.
Yeah I know mate, but the glasses aren't dependent on circumstances, I think the test is the least of a worry, it's how much someone like Vision Express will rip people off for when mandatory comes in, they are probably owned by some Tory mate, who will get a windfall from this legislation. In short, i don't trust them mate, it's going to be another excuse to rip people off, and restrict people's ability to get about, especially if it is someone who lives rural. Another piece of legislation for perfectionism... please log in to view this image
London to Brighton twice on the train in the last few days and both journeys ****ed by trespassers on the line. Arrest, ten years, deport if applicable. And if it’s code for a suicide they’re selfish bastards who should do it quietly at home.
Tbf he didn't say people, he said nazis and as nazis ain't really people it ain't no biggie in all honesty
Bro I'm sure you put this one up the other day. Edit: that one's got todays date on it, so someone must be regurgitating it
Defo seen it before, but a few days ago, I wonder if it was on GC and this person has regurgitated it, which is why it's dated today.
