Yeah I am thinking of another offer on that £300k Ferrari for £40k, but I feel that it may be pointless.
Some negotiator you are. Significant movement is the least you could hope for in a Ferrari. You need to up your expectations a notch or two.
Trust me, I'm a bit of an expert in these situations. I've bought loads of Ferraris. Say "make it red and we can look at ways of getting our figures closer together". Not only will he like the salesman speak but he will now know you mean business. Never make them think the deal's off but don't be afraid to walk away. Make them confident of a sale but don't be too keen. Demand some free cleaning products are thrown in so he know he's up against a hardball. Reality You; £3000,000? Are you willing to take an offer? Salesman; No You; OK £300,000 it is.
I think West Ham fans are missing the point. We don't NEED to sell for financial reasons and he has 4yrs left on his contract. I imagine West Ham are trying to get him unsettled and signed before bigger clubs in Europe make a move.
It is mate because the Southamton from 2014 sold anyone, not always at a high price, £34M for Mane in 2016 when Sterling went for £49m the previous season. I said it at the time that was way too cheap. We were like that for a number of years hence the attitude towards us now
My car just failed its MOT, so I might need the 300k. Ferraris don’t grow on trees. If they did they would be called Ferrartrees.
It all hinges on the concept that a relegated side MUST have to sell, but maybe we just don't want to unless we are made an extreme offer. The idea that we could possibly be planning to retain these players seems to be beyond understanding.
The central defender links don’t seem to be going away. Odd considering how many we have, surely at least 2 are leaving if we are bringing in someone else? ABK, Wood, THB, Quarshie, Edwards, Stephens as “senior” centre backs is arguably too many even with a back 3 and there was some noise about Sanda playing a part this season as well. Plus I can’t see Taylor as a wing back the way we have lined up so far (although Bree might be the same on the other flank). We all think ABK is off/wont play even if he stays, but apart from that haven’t heard anything about any others except for some loose links for THB early in the window. If we are seriously looking at centre backs then wouldn’t surprise me if ABK and two others leave
