Just quickly off the top of my head in no particular order: 1. Home to city in the fa cup, 3 up at half time against 10 men. 2. Home to West Ham during lockdown 3. Home to United, “Lads, it’s Spurs” 4. Zagreb away under Jose 5. Losing to relegated Portsmouth in an FA cup semi-final.
Lunatic fringe indeed. Some of them seem to live for the opportunity to be upset, and I doubt there is anything they could not find an angle to be upset about. It's a strange new type of "fan" because they don't really meet my definition of what a supporter is. They may be the product of TalkShite etc, who presumably always choose the most deranged to put on air when they get a choice, and model themselves on that crowd. Not sure what they would have made of our relegation season, probably their heart would have given out before the end. I wonder how much all that self-inflicted stress is shortening their life? Fortunately there is a much higher standard of debate on here!
