im a saddo and watched first half of oxfords game against portsmouth they look like a typical rowett side, strong, solid shape but no real quality there genuinely wont be an 'easier' game for us to get our first win under big serg
Looking forward to the game, pleased it is on Sunday as I am flying back to Vietnam tomorrow, getting into Saigon Saturday evening. I watched the highlights of the Wrexham game, lots to like about our forward play, it looks likely Joffy will be on the right wing with Palmer in the 10 role, plus Lundrum and either Crook's or Slater in midfield, with Egan in for Ajayi, McBurnie and Ndala completing the forward line.
while not a must win in terms of the season, i feel after the last 2 years troubles at home it sort of feels like it in a way , or certainly more then usual stamp out any lingering talk of home curses and all that stuff and put all that to bed with a solid home win against a favourable opponent.
City will be smarting from throwing the game away the other night and will want to go and put it right. 2 - 0 City
Sad but true - frustrating 1-1 draw. Set piece goal for them and a same old City for us. Hopes rest with the bus queue of new signings lined up to come on down to town, as soon as the EFL pardon pipeline parps
If we manage to win this we then play Blackburn at home next with a chance of taking 7 out of 9 points. That would set the platform for a good season. That requires 2 home wins though
This will be a big ****housary test. We’ll pass the test with ease. The home curse has gone. City 3-0 Cherwell Punters
4-2 repeat of the Allsopp, Burgess demolition job. McBurnie brace, Geldhart, Ndala...One hopes....Slates hits the woodwork... In truth 1-0 would be okay.
2-0 a good sound win lads, no showboating, get the job done and get our home games off to the best start possible. Ta!
