Depends on the valuation right? If you offer £100k less on an asset that's valued at a £1m that could be seen as lowballing, £40m short (nearly 25% of the asking price) on £150m is certainly not a serious offer.
well apart from the fact the real valuation was unknown until tested with real money and if NUFC won't sell him for less than a £150m you are going to have a very unhappy player on your hands by the looks of it .
I'm not sure that information is in the public domain to be honest - think we both know that. But as the £110m offer was rejected out of hand, its likely viewed as low ball (assuming we're open to a sale at the right price). £150m is a figure that has been talked about in the public domain well in advance of any bid - that much I know. Might just be terrace talk.
go on then show me the official valuation notification not some twatter post saying "sources are saying NUFC value him at £150m"
I first heard the amount of £150m a good few month back it was when some one on Talk ****e asked a Newcastle fan how much is Isak worth after Isak had netted a hattrick against Ipswich the giddy Newcastle fan replied with "£100m, nah, 120m nah, £150m" this was then talked about on Talk ****e and people think it's gospel likewise the same with the £300k a week wages crap no one other than the people involved will know about fees, wages etc everyone who is saying this amount and that amount is talking ****e
Liverpool fans are just not used to little old Newcastle not giving them what they need without any fight whatsoever. The muppets paid £35 million for Andy Carroll, so it's their fault prices went up in the first place btw... We could do without inflated prices under psr restrictions they won't ever have to swallow. Like pay what Newcastle are asking, or jog off quietly without looking like Kevin the teenager. Really it's not unreasonable
Plus Isak & his dirtbag agent could obviously put in a transfer request but that would forfeit any contractual loyalty bonuses and financial add-ons they'd receive from a transfer to Liverpool which just shows their greed as they expect a loyalty payout even though he's currently refusing to work.
It's just baffling that some of Liverpools fans seem to be so far up the increasingly irritating liverbirds arse, that they're pretending Newcastle are doing something wrong.
Banter on here mainly, although I did finally get one or two right. Essentially if you look at about 1000 planes and player links you'll eventually get one right by chance.
Liverpool fans own messiah: Jamie Carragher to Alexander Isak: If I had £150m, I would sign you! (30/12/24) https://www.skysports.com/football/...isak-youre-one-of-the-best-strikers-in-europe Jamie Carragher fires warning to Liverpool over risky £150m transfer decision (7/8/25) https://www.caughtoffside.com/2025/08/06/liverpool-alexander-isak-transfer-carragher/ He didn't become worth less - 6 months later after winning a trophy and bagging 24 goals...
