I have a hunch Kamara just isn’t Jakirovic’s type of player, and last night has probably cemented that view.
He did not look happy to be playing had a disinterested look, could be just way he is but seemed happier when he was at Portsmouth smiling and stuff. Shame really he has got talent and ability to create chances.
Abu Kamara on verge of Hull City exit as decision made after transfer fee agreement The Tigers' winger could be on his way out of the club please log in to view this image Abu Kamara in action for Hull City against Wrexham on Tuesday night (Image: Lewis Storey/Getty Images) Hull City are in talks with three clubs over a permanent move away from the MKM Stadium for winger Abu Kamara, with growing expectation that a deal could be completed soon. Spanish La Liga side Getafe are leading the chase, who City faced in their final pre-season outing earlier this month, but Birmingham City and Rangers have also lodged bids for the 21-year-old winger, Hull Live understands. Talks are ongoing and it is now expected Kamara has played his final game for the Tigers. Kamara has attracted interest throughout the summer with Rangers and former loan club Portsmouth keen, but it now looks like Madrid-based Getafe may well get their man if the finer details of the sale can be thrashed out. City are reluctant to part with Kamara, who joined on deadline day last summer from Norwich City. The club's position is they would only consider selling the London-born performer if they recoup the money they paid the Canaries, which is around £3.5m. That transfer fee now looks like it will be met, which has opened the door on an exit. Should Kamara move on, and there's a growing feeling that a deal will be done soon, then City will go back into the market and look to bring in a replacement, in addition to David Akintola.
There is that, on the other hand, Madrid is an absolute honking dump, and once you’ve been round it all for a week there’s very little to do, isolated in the middle of nowhere as it is.
I suspect you’re probably right. He has a very laid back body language and Jakirović seems to like very dynamic, all action players.
Can't see it - admittedly we've done some stupid **** previously but that would be truly idiotic, especially when three clubs are meeting his asking price or thereabouts
We need another CF. If not and McBurnie gets injured, we're in a worse position that last season. I can't imagine KJ being up to chipping in with a serious amount of goals Don't want to write Destan off but his record looks uninspiring and he's already injured
Or we're just balancing the books after bringing in Akintola and Gelhardt who can provide cover on the right until Belloumi is fit Always seemed unlikely we'd be carrying 3 first team right wingers this season.
To me We are basically selling as many players as we have been able to Without selling hughes and pandur We need the cash
I think Kamara has talent but it’s obvious we have cash flow issues so if selling Kamara means we can keep Hughes and/or Pandur then I’m fine with it. Same reason I won’t mind if we sell Puerta.
We would have already been cleared to sign Akintola Gelhardt by efl so books would have to have been balanced to do so, they would not let us sign someone on a promise we will sell someone to balance the book.
and we still got Matazo to come back even if it’s not till Dec god knows what’s happening with Zambrano.
Here's hoping, cos we probably need another right sided centre half and another backup keeper owing to the events of the last few days.
