Just bought a bloody bike on a Gilbert Baitson auction for £100 plus vat and fees and then realised its not what I thought it was and I've probably paid more than the thing is worth second hand.

Did manage to get a lovely Cube bike though for a bargain price of £190 plus vat and fees, a swingball set for the garden and a great set of pans. Still well up on the deal.

Inspired from another thread.

"Doggo"

Also "Pupper", but it gets more of a pass as the people that say it tend to be isolated underground

Cubes are nice bikes - what model did you get?

It's a cross race. Really nice to ride. I've never had something like this, I was actually very shocked when I first took it out just how comfortable it was to ride. I've very much got the bug now.

Been riding anywhere nice
Does it fit in car? Easily

I brought it home on my roof bars. I might get one of those things that go on the back of the Discovery to stand it on in case I want to take it camping but otherwise I probably won't need to transport it. I will just ride it to where I want to go!

The media over egging stuff. Today the bank of England slashed interest rates, down to 4%.

It's come down by 0.25% it's the smallest % change that could have been made. It's not slashed.

Privatisation by stealth

I pay a monthly Denplan it’s not cheap but crowns and caps are included ‘except’ lab work to make the item . My guy has almost retired but he still comes in and does the difficult stuff like root canals , many of the new ones aren’t trained to do them - difference between a ‘fitter’ and a mechanic or engineer I think .
