No i am big admirer of Hobbs, but what i am saying was in only two of those games was he outstandingly better than Chester. I rate Hobbs highly but not as highly as Chester, who i feel is in a different class. This is no slight on Hobbs i just feel if Chester has a bad game we go OTT with it, the same as we do with Hobbs, if he makes one bad pass, he knows about it.
Fair play mate. Just that I have said from day one that I rate Hobbs as being as good as Chester. I appreciate I'm in the minority on that one but that's what makes football the game it is. Everyone has a different slant.
Yep i remember your views on Hobbs and i was always one who defended Hobbs on the back of the theorm that a defender's job is not to distribute the ball or play the ball into the final third if he has to do that it is failing on the midfielders part. But i can see why you may think that, i just think Chester is a different class. But each to their own.
Both different players that offer us something different ie. Chester good on the ground, Hobbs good in the air
