Ashby-Hammond...Szucs...Palsson...Wiredu...Benarous...Boateng...Ibrahim...Finn...Paterson...Hatch...Oseni. Subs Baker (GK)...Flower (GK)...Amaechi...Mumba...Watts...Pepple...Sorinola...Mwaro...Campbell. Mix and Match.....who knows what is our best eleven.....I don't think Cleverley knows yet.
Half time. 75% possession 8 corners to their 1 327 pases to their 112 of which 283 accurate to their 71 16 shots to their 4 of which 4 accurate to their 3 Argyle miss a penalty Score 0-2 Is a pattern starting to appear?
I've just switched on and seen the stats. Which team is this??????????? Surely some mistake somewhere.
3-2.....F/T Wiredu...(48mins)................Bennie...(21mins) Oseni...(54 & 78mins).........Kolli...(45+2mins) Att...10,884. Well that was a strange game.....good win in the end against a QPR team well under strength.....but a wins a win whatever.

Reading on the QPR website....their fans where surprised how young the team was that they put out.....there was at least one 16yr old making his debut. Good job we won in the end......the write ups on pasoti regarding Palsson and Ashby-Hammond were rather damning.

I see 986 QPR fans made the mid-week trip to Home Park.....now if that was a very second rate team chosen....as a fan travelling mid-week I would be very upset with the management treating fans in such a way.
It was indeed a very young QPR side - none of their starting 11 were in their team for their last league game. But then. We had two 17 year-olds making their senior debuts and have a disturbingly long and growing injury list. You have to point the finger at Palsson for the first goal we conceded….. no challenge for the header at all. Football fans know that their 1st team isn’t going to turn out for a game like that so early in the season. No grounds for complaint.
Looked at the highlights and what was shown looked quite good attacking wise.....you wonder how no goals were scored by Argyle in the first half. Ashby-Hammond did look glued to his line for there goals.....you would think he could of got a fist on the ball at least for the second one. It makes me wonder how we signed him in the first place....it certainly wasn't a spur of the moment decision.....that appalling own goal he scored whilst at the training camp in Austria surely would have had many doubting his ability.......light years away from just over a year back with Cooper in goal.
There keeper Nardi was the most experienced player.....he had been dropped for the earlier league match.
I don't get this crusade against Ashby-Hammond. Surely anyone looking at those two goals we conceded sees two back post headers go entirely unchallenged. That's not good enough. In between, we also see Palsson done for pace down our LHS to allow QPR another good chance.
Ashby-Hammond was not far from the second header.....he could of made it more difficult by coming out for it....instead of being rooted flat footed to the line. We need someone in defence to take the lead.....they're all a bit unsure at present.
