Thiaw signed... He won't play either and neither would a striker signed this week anyway. Take all the **** away and we've still got a decent 11.
Think I'd rather use Barnes in the middle and Gordon left.... Maybe even use Joelinton as a striker... He can probably do a job there in a better side.
Cheeky. But I won’t bite. I think he’s probably going to end up at Burnley or Leeds. But the way things are going here it may be we take a punt.
last bit is what you expected….lets be honest. in a decent Newcastle side, maybe he could get 10 goals from a few starts/subs. he can rekindle his amazing partnership with Gordon
I reckon he’s one of them players that in the right setup he would do well. A bit like Chris Wood. He couldn’t hit a barn door for us. But we didn’t play to his strengths. DCL just needs direction and service which suits him. At Everton in a defensive team he was not utilised properly.
Come on Roland you're usually all into your formations and tactics.. I'm always thinking attributes.. I genuinely think you could maybe even stick Fab Schar or even Miley up there... Thinking outside the box
Man City want the PSG GK. Trafford was bought as a bench warmer. lol another player who is going to waste his career. But at least he’s getting paid £100k a week. That’s all he’s bothered about.
Lot of the summer has genuinely had a “let’s just **** with Newcastle” vibe. We won’t go for donnarumma, why would we when have the unreal duo of Pope and Ramsdale.
We would never be able to afford him. Now he is on a big wedge! If we went for him we’d be decried for aiming too high.
There's seemingly nobody we can attract inbetween the likes of Donnarumma and Ramsdale..? Is Trafford the only one we could have gone for? I don't really watch keepers, I think watching Mike Hooper gave me a complex in that regard.
The big six are flexing their muscles this window absolutely no doubt about it. All of them have spent a large chunk. And the wages given for these players is just well above what we can offer. It’s interesting that outside the big six hardly any of the teams have spent money. Other than the promoted clubs.
They needed to because villa and Newcastle were becoming a problem. They unlike the other clubs can buy their way out of trouble even after bad recruitment.
