Im not pissed off just want it done one way or another so we can move on make the team better. But the club must take a strong approach to this, I get it all rumours and these 'transfer experts' change thier story and narrative each day. Only yesterday Downie and Jacobs saying its looking like he will stay. Now ornstein saying he wont play. Who knows what the truth is. There is a % of the fan base who will never forget this no matter if he stays or not. Yes we are all fickle and will celebrate if he scores but hes screwed himself here and it wont be forgotten.
So if your Tax Accountant told you he knew of a way to fiddle your accounts so that you paid less tax but it was illegal if you got caught, would you just go along with it? Isak doesn’t strike me as a typical stupid footballer who can’t think for himself. If he was happy with us, his trophy prospects and potential earnings he would just tell his agent to leave him to it. If he wanted a bigger salary he could tell his agent to negotiate one with us.
Ornstein saw people considering Isak's return and welcoming it. So today - change the narrative. It's obvious what is going on.
Maybe, but point remains. Clubs push players out that they don’t want despite giving them contracts. They’ll drop them from squads, not give them playing time, make them train with reserves - maybe hasn’t happened at Newcastle in last year or so, but the fact it happens at other clubs (famously MUFC and Chelsea atm) suggests that it will also happen at other clubs. It’s how football works. You buy better players to replace ones you don’t want and therefore force out the others. Fans aren’t pissed when the clubs try force out the **** players.
You have a calculator. I’ve answered 2 of the questions that you were trying to prove a point on and gave you the answer that you clearly weren’t expecting. Im sure if you move the goalposts around some more, you might get an answer where you can go - see it’s not the same thing.
No because my accountant has a legal duty to inform the Tax office of any such behaviour and the accountant is my cousin so keeps me safe from ****
Because Newcastle value him at 150m and Isak and his agent clearly feel that’s too much? Not sure what mean about true colours? What you/I value him at is irrelevant. In him and his agents eyes, he’s being priced out and denied a chance to move.
The debate is very simple He wants Newcastle to sell Isak for significantly less than he's worth and that's it really. He's using values from 2007 for Coutinho though so Jesus Isak is actually worth about 300 million I think based on those.
I couldn’t care less. It’s not my money. If Liverpool spend 70m on him, 150m or 200m it makes little difference in my life
Well he made Liverpool so **** that he helped them win a cup and the league. Not bad for a **** player lol. He did have a cracking 15 minutes in one game though, can’t remember who it was against but we were away down to 10 men and 1-0 down, came in and scored 2 quality goals to win the game to help the club win the league. Not bad work for a **** player tbf
Really dont give a **** what Isak and his agent feel. This value of £150m is too low in my mind anyway when you have the likes of Manu thinking about £100m+ for a midfielder. but we are where we are. For me, there are two options - Someone meets the clubs valuation from abroad and he goes - No clubs meets the valuation and he stays Thats it. The club should get on with its transfer business of getting a striker to replace wilson and 2 midfielders. Use the noise to get on with that so it goes under the radar.
