I believe that will happen once they get the Bournemouth player. Next. It's very simple Liverpool only have to offer his valuation... Outside that the player is the issue.
Either way, Wissa has gone on strike. Surely you don’t want that kind of behaviour at the club right?
I don't want Wissa actually.. Check the vault. This is about the wider implications of giving into ****housery for me.
Seems to me Isak had felt he would be allowed to move to a bigger club after telling Howe he wanted to leave in May and we’ve not been able to honour that due to transfer failings, so after Sesko fell through decided then to tell Isak he’s got to stay as there’s nobody else we want. Isak is presumably fuming that he can’t move on because we can’t buy players. Doubt it’s much more complicated than that. It’s just been a dreadful window through and through, total failure.
@InBiscanWeTrust BTW did ****inho refuse to play and did you get less than his valuation? Like 40 million less?
Isak wants to go I get that, but this is like giving into ****housery at this point.. It's the wider implications.... It says to other players 'this how you do it' Isak at this point is immaterial to the bigger issues this presents. Plenty more players out there, but I'm looking for Newcastle to be strong that's all.
Just sell the **** to whoever will pay the most. If that's Liverpool then that's Liverpool and with Isak's temperament he may well crumble when we play them
If he's refusing to play - that's a breach of contract - and at that point I'm not interested in selling him as a point of principle. Let him rot in the reserves for 3 years, then fine him 2 weeks wages every time he refuses to play or train, we'll make our money back on him before his contract ends!
Nobody is offering anywhere near his valuation, ****housery doesn't deserve being ripped off and him getting his way. The club needs to show some grit.
I really do hope that his whole situation has put some fire in Yas's belly. PIF have been too passive for too long. Trying to placate the PL doesnt work and the big 6 will do anything to protect their positions. Yas it's time to **** or get off the pot. Time to take the PL and the cartel to task, wrap them up in legal battles. In Jan, just spend £500m and say we will take the hit on points but we will fight you all the way. I really want PIF to bring this whole system crashing to the ground............but I fear they wont. Which I dont get as they have taken over Boxing, Golf, F1 but they seem very passive on football
Mate it’s the Saudi arrogance and ignorance that has gotten us into this Isak mess. They won’t quite get what’s going on, but just as the rest of the window has been a mess I strongly suspect we’ll shank this one into the weeds too.
We're ****ed but we can still defeat Isak and not give people what they want. Embrace that opportunity! Don't fold like some kind of sad oaf.
