This is possibly the one of the worst appraisals I've ever seen in my life. He only dives? he does nothing else? Gordon does literally everything well, but lacks end product. Barnes has end product, but doesn't offer much else (although it's a significant strength) Barnes isn't going to improve and Gordon is unlikely to score enough a season, so I'm genuinely keen to see a more well rounded player come in eventually. Gordon of the two is closer to what's required. Ticks more boxes by far. Hopefully I'm explaining my frustration with both anyway.
Club need to take him to court if true. Terminate his contract, sue him for breach of said contract and take out an injunction preventing him from signing for another PL club for the duration of his contract.
The thing is I understand Isak wanting to go, but at this point he's become possibly one of the most serpent like human beings ever to grace the city. Get rid but not where he wants to go... The club has to call his bluff otherwise imo.
What I said was that he will start wanting to play as once the season starts.. If they can loan him out they ain't sold him btw. I also made it plain the other option is to call his bluff. Can't give in to pool and this snakes antics imo... Sell to any other club maybe?
Our only hope at this point to save face whatsoever is that the owners say OK then you're not playing until someone offers £150 million pounds. I understand some will want him sold because they're fed up of this and angry, but you'll only be laughed at and you'll have lost all self respect anyway. The clubs come this far! It's too late to yield to these ****ers and this little bastard! They absolutely cannot let him win.... Call his bluff he's addicted to playing he'll fold eventually.
I wouldn't believe any of it till Isak comes out and publicly states his stance, this article is same **** regurgitated from the last 3 weeks, there's nothing new in it and probably funded by the scousers to get him on the cheap assisted by his agent, imho.
Fcuk me, even Gobby Agbangawhore is batting for the Toon. Even pushing a "do Liverpool really want to sign a character like this" narrative.
See with this I do agree. You sign a contract and expect to honour it, but clubs force players out all the time. I’m sure there are probably examples in the past at Newcastle, but I don’t know off top of my head, but look over in Manchester. Sancho, Rashford, Antony, club signed them to deals now decide don’t want them and force them out anyway they can. Unfortunately there is no loyalty in football from clubs or players. Everyone is out to get the best for themselves. Is going on strike right? Absolutely not, bit of a **** move to be honest. However like all things, you only get one side of the story. If he’s been told he could have pay rise then club back tracked then can see why he’d be pissed a if that is true. In our day to day lives at work if they offered me a pay rise in 12 months then didn’t follow through I’d be pissed and prob look for a new job. Players will come and go
Ornstein though isn't one to bullshit... Isak is playing his final card. Just ignore him and he'll eventually start wanting to play.. There's no way he's going to sit out the game for long... He's addicted and needs the buzz of scoring goals.. Actually I'd just laugh at his card.
Isak has gone too far that's why. Tbh I think most people hate on pundits for simply having opinions they don't like.. I don't mind him... Hairy hands is. Another matter.
I was listening to this. Ally Mccoist was of the same opinion. Simon Jordan also. Isak has really (well his agent) ****ed things up for himself hasn’t he.
Question.. Can Newcastle refuse to pay him and leave him to sit out the club altogether until he's started behaving?
This isn't going to end well for Isak if what is being reported is true. Clubs are going to think twice about wanting a character like that in their dressing rooms.
I don't think the big clubs will care because they know when they land a player like him they don't want to leave until late in their careers.. Easier to keep players. It's sadly another advantage they have...
