You’ve just told me I was bonkers for believing it was held back and now you’re saying of course it’s held back. sort it out
DONT GET EXCITED ALARM Thought I'd share this since it's been shared elsewhere just to mention the account is just a bullshit merchant as far as I can tell. Just jumps on rumours that are floating round twitter and pretends he's breaking a story on the off-chance.
Whether it's because of football fans or terrorists, @MadMackem77 only said the club were keeping flight details off of the radar apps, which looks to be true... Now why don't you two kiss and make up
I’ll take it with a pinch of salt but I’d be very happy with this. He just wasn’t ready for the premier league when he was at Everton and they were a basket case of a club. I think he’d do very well here.
I didn't, that's nothing like what I've been saying. My opinion is that this is becoming more of a computer games and less like a football club by the hour ... ... the sooner this window closes the better, it's all quite weird and ridiculously intense imo. Night all, four days to go ... Ha'way the Lads
Confidence player like a lot of forwards. In the right environment, he’ll thrive. He’s got it all, good finisher, good in the air, strong, good with his back to goal and quick. I’d take him in a heartbeat.
Exactly mate. He’s clearly well thought of and must have something, just look at the clubs he’s been involved with. PSG, Juventus and now Fiorentina. Italian international as well.
It’s not that unbelievable that the club are trying to hide flight details. We’re talking about multi million pound deals we’re trying to make, competing with other clubs to make these massive deals. We’re not just talking about small time transfer stuff nowadays where there’s no huge risk if something gets leaked, these are massive figures we’re spending now, so secrecy matters. It’s already been shown this summer alone that leaks can scupper deals as it did with Petrovic. Sacha, the journalist who broke the story even admitted he shouldn’t have gone public with it as it drew attention from other teams before we were able to finalise the deal. It makes perfect sense.
Just a suggestion, but why don’t you only post on the other thread then? The Sunderland only stuff gets posted on there doesn’t it? And Sunderland plus everything else gets posted here. If you don’t want to know about the other stuff, just go in the other thread, no?
Obviously a good player but he certainly wouldn't be my first choice out of the names that have been mentioned, he's far too inconsistent. Either red hot or ice cold
In which case why are Sunderland supporters tracking flights, messaging agents and generally doing everything possible to scupper deals ... ... seriously, can't you see that if the club are really trying to hide flight details, etc, it's totally irresponsible of people to try to attempt to f*ck things up? This is exactly what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate an honest answer.
Nobody is trying to scupper deals. It’s fans being excited and engaged in the rumours surrounding our club at a time when there’s genuinely a great reason to be excited. If we can’t get excited being a Sunderland fan this summer, then when can we be? Do we sometimes get overly invested, overly excited and take things a bit far, maybe, but who cares, it feels like Christmas. The fans are allowed to get excited, as are the club allowed to try and contain information, which they are doing. I don’t believe the club are trying to block flights specifically because of fans looking at that information, but because of what that could lead to, such as leaks leading to a deal collapsing, as we’ve seen this summer (Petrovic). Or, because of backlash if the club fail to get a deal over the line after flight information comes out (Lauriente). I think it’s a little naive to think the club aren’t trying to keep a lid on things, or to think that hiding flight information is solely the stuff of MI5.
I keep seeing an advert on sky sports saying ‘watch more of Sunderland’ with a clip of Dan Ballard on the pitch.
