Oh no, Oslo: Begovic was truly awful and cost us a lot of goals (-7 if I recall the stats correctly). IMO, Nardi is good, not brilliant: he started last season really well but then seemed to go off the boil slightly. I think he's a better shot stopper than one who claims crosses into the box. Nevertheless, I am surprised that he seems to have been replaced by Walsh. I've seen the latter a few times and been generally impressed but I'd want to see more before I could say he was better than Nardi. Clearly, our management have seen more than me (largely at Heston, I presume) and formed that opinion, although how you can judge outside of league matches, I don't know.
Seems Nardi plays tomorrow night... https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-stephan-to-make-changes-to-qpr-side
I think what people also have to remember is that Nardi was knee deep in **** many times last year because he had a god awful defence in front of him. I actually don't know how he saved a lot of shots he had no right to save. And I'm not surprised that he made mistakes here and there because he was under a lot of pressure with all that responsibility and lack of support in front of him.
