Out for Sunday lunch yesterday... Was going to buy the stepfather an obscene t-shirt for his birthday when we were in Majorca, but didn't. Ended up costing me £190 yesterday instead, so lesson learnt. Beef usually exceptional there, but they've changed chefs... was ok. Affogato pudding - one of my favourite ways to end a meal, and this one came with an Amaretto which was a nice touch.

My gal makes this cabbage thing cut it up, chop chop, put in frying pan with olive oil, salt, fresh garlic chopped up nice n thin and about 3 dried chillies crushed up. Let the cabbage start frying up, sizzle sizzle then add veg stock, bowt 2 cups worth and let it simmer away till stock disappears into the cabbage. goes perfect with meat and bread Yum easy peasy bowt 45 minutes cooking time
