Ultimately Newcastle are signing a very good CB and they've already bagged Elanga....both at the right age. There's more to come, but the media are so stupid they're only focusing on the players we haven't signed and Isak. In a few weeks and the muppets will see our 11 and our bench and realise we're much much stronger.
Please let this be true. I would ****ing love it if he went to Madrid for 150m. Imagine Mbappe on the left Isak down the middle and Rodrygo on the right. Having said that doesn’t Mbappe want to play down the middle?
If Isak goes to Madrid I would be happy. If we get Thiaw in today and Wissa by the end of this week. And maybe a CM and Striker. That is a fantastic window.
Liverpool.. Tbh Thiaw and Botman is surely our best CB option ever... Would like another CB tbh with a bit of pace and then Burn and Schar will become good lads on the bench.
Means nothing they also looked decent in America. West Ham have actually got some very good players and I expect they'll do fine this season..
Time will tell but I don’t think we will get £150m for him this summer but certainly not next year. TBH I'd be delighted if he knuckled down and gave it another year but I think once you are barred from training and family day's the writings on the wall... Agree we are in control and that's why its a conundrum - do you take silly money now or risk the asset losing value due to an average season. Best time to sell your house is at the peak of the market, best time to sell Isak is the summer after he's score 20 goals and we are in the CL, it's a bit like the Miggy sale, he had a great season and we probably could have extracted another £10m for him if we sold him in the summer after but we didn't and he went back to America for cheap. Same could be said about Murphy (https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jacob-murphy/marktwertverlauf/spieler/199527) this year - he'll never be as valuable as he is right now, but we will keep him on and probably sell him on for £5-8m next year
