I see Newcastle are about to steal liverpool's most talented teenager https://talksport.com/football/3461...talent-who-rejected-liverpool-contract-offer/
Highly likely that the Isak not for sale stance is to drive Liverpool or another to bid as close to the desired £150m as possible. If it's actually a genuine not for sale, then that is amusing.
I would think that all depends on the players actual attitude but you are right, you don't give a player like him away for peanuts.
Nicolas Jackson favours a move to Newcastle United should the Senegal striker, 24, leave Chelsea during the summer transfer window. (Telegraph - subscription required), external Newcastle will wait to resolve the future of Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, before deciding whether to move for Chelsea striker Jackson. (PA news agency), external Newcastle have made a bid for Brentford's Yoane Wissa but Liverpool are monitoring the situation as they see the DR Congo forward, 28, as an alternative if they fail to sign Isak.(Caught Offside), external France forward Randal Kolo Muani, 26, would prefer to join Juventus than Newcastle after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Italian club from Paris St-Germain. (Teamtalk), external Sunderland have enquired about signing 26-year-old English defender Lloyd Kelly, who has just joined Juventus on an obligation-to-buy move after an initial loan from Newcastle. Possibly.... Like I say once the window closes time will pass and a man that loves to play football will want to play football.
But Eddie Howe specifically said he only wants players who want to play for Newcastle to be at the club. Maybe that statement was directed at Isak specifically.
I agree. However said he only wants players who want to be at the club. And we know eddies a stubborn sort.
Exactly... You do realise that the entire basis of my last comment was built on the fact that a living organism can change their mind.
Italy does make sense because the players are cheaper but there's some real quality there. Serie A when I grew up was the best league with the best players, so it's kinda weird seeing Newcastle taking AC Milans players.
Not being funny but do we want to rely on too many African signings would we lose them with Afcon from 21 Dec 2025 – 18 Jan 2026 at a crucial part of the season
Not the end of the world, we'll be at least 10 points clear at the top. Will make it fair for the second half of the season
