Speaking about the issue of territory during peace talks, Trump said: "We are looking to actually get some back and some swapping. It is complicated, actually nothing easy. We are going to get some back, some switched." Russia's presidential aide Yuri Ushakovsaid: "We expect this process will not be simple, but we will be engaged in it actively and consistently." Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskysaid: "The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will deviate from this - and no one will be able to. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier." UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has yet to directly respond, but a Downing Street spokesperson said: "[Starmer and Zelensky] welcomed President Trump's desire to bring this barbaric war to an end and agreed that we must keep up the pressure on Putin to end his illegal war." France's President Emmanuel Macron said: "Ukraine's future cannot be decided without the Ukrainians who have been fighting for their freedom and security for more than three years now. Europeans will also necessarily be part of the solution because their security depends on it."

Ukraine's future cannot be decided without the Ukrainians. But apparently Palestine's future can be decided unilaterally and without consulting the Palestinians. Go figure.
which is why the PA need to be brought into talks instead of Netanyahu freezing them out and saying they’ll have nothing to do with any future governance
Abbas is an old fossil who needs binning off, but the PA have been thwarted by Israel to an extent because Benny the butcher has actively sought to undermine them in fear they would push for a Palestinian state. Which is why he helped to fund Hamas….
I think we should find a way to ask the Palestinians who they would like to represent them in the single most important decision of their history.
The campaigning for the election would be interesting. Parties trying to one up each other on how many Jews they pledge to kill. They can have the government imposed upon them. **** wasting anyone else’s resources on some sham election for the cycle to just start again.
I agree mate, but there has been so much effort into quashing any legitimate Palestinian governance. Hence why we’ve seen Netanyahu go to the lengths of helping to bolster Hamas and now arm other factions who have links to Islamic state. Personally I think they need help in this vacuum of governance, and I would enlist a coalition of Egypt, Jordan and a reformed PA to represent and eventually govern a Palestinian state.
Benny attempting a pre-emptive "... but, but, but, you don't understand ... " https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c1dxndnkq6yt
Israel have killed two Al-Jazeera journalists and their two cameramen. They’re saying they’ve intelligence that one of them was an Hamas operative and has previously been training in terrorist camps. I thought journalists weren’t allowed in?
Oh well. Going on the assumption that Israel have lied about one of them being Hamas, they’re ****ing stupid for being there especially as the media they represent do nothing but lie and slag Israel off.
I get what youre saying but you of all people on this board should know that journo's are a bit of a protected species in times of war regardless of their leanings. Yes some die (they are in a war zone) but they are not usually targeted.
Israel are claiming they have evidence one of them is an Hamas operative. If it’s true then he’s a legitimate target.
Unfortunately, yes. If he is indeed an Hamas operative, and I stress ‘if’, then no war crime has been committed. Israel aren’t not going to take out a target like that because he has a few colleagues with him.
