I saw an article headline, can't remember if it was posted on here or elsewhere, but it said the Championship has the smallest ability gap between the best and worst teams in Europe.

There may be more to it than that, but the actual article was paywalled

 

Fatawu’s coming off an ACL injury and still looks sharp. Been Leicester’s best player. I suppose that’s a decent indication for us regarding our boys with ACL injuries.

More players recover now than ever before, but it's asking a lot to expect them to hit the ground running like they'd never been away, and there is a higher statistical probability of further injury following a return from long term absence.

Put it this way, I'm glad we haven't been negligent in ensuring we have cover.
