I think the problem is this is our depth with a young defence, a couple players returning from injury, against a solid La liga side.
I think we could do with another RB. Huggins needs time but not sure I’d like us to rely on that if Hume gets injured
Definitely a game for getting minutes in for players who were injured or not match ready beforehand this I'm not going to read too much into the result. Just want Rigg, la fee, patto etc to come through unscathed and with a bit of competitive match experience
With a couple of exceptions most of this XI would not be starting regularly. It’s always interesting to see who could up their game to fit in with the starters, but even more so who is standing out today despite playing in a weakened team.
Enzo and Lavery my standouts. Isidor working hard and made some good runs but never found. Roberts cannot play PL football.
