If an ear infection caused by a sexually transmitted infection becomes serious enough that it may kill you, you are said to be suffering from potential Gonna Ear.
I’ve a spot on my nob…. No idea where it came from, I’ll squeeze the bastard when it get a white head…
I love the confidence most people have around the returns of Belloumi and Miller , however, I'm not convinced both or even either will come back as strong as they went out. ACL is a big injury and many players struggle to come back at the same level. I sincerely hope they both come back roaring but I worry one or both will have a quiet season after an ACL.
I am unsure, with surgical improvements over the years, if there is a better prognosis for players to return to their previous levels. I hope so but I just know that for the next few months we will all wince every time Belloumi or Millar go in for a tackle.
Apparently Millar is running a 12s 100m at the moment, which even without an ACL injury is above average. Shearer, Van Nistlerooy, Totti, Roberto Baggio and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all suffered ACLs and then carried on afterward just fine. In fact I'm pretty sure Shearer did his in his debut season as a top flight footballer.
This is promising since Millar was much more about sheer pace, Belloumi beat full backs more with guile than speed so it probably wouldn't hamper him as much if he was a little bit slower after the injury.
