I think he was referring to the other top ball that left him clear... he checked back instead of going in on goal...
Yeah, tried to lay it off to Joseph who was tightly marked by 3 players. He had a clear shot of goal but for some reason didn’t have the gumption to try it
I'm sure in one of his earlier interviews he said he wants his players to shoot pretty much as soon as they get the chance
I thought when I saw the replay that it was harsh to expect Crooks to shoot, he was running towards the corner flag so it would've been awkward.
I watched post game interview, the way Jakirovic speaks, he seems like great mid level executive in a company. He speaks calmly but also authoritatively.
Dont understand why Mcburnie getting involved in that altercation was a good thing,. It wan not, he got booked, at some point that booking may lead to a one week ban. What did he gain by the altercation other than to satisfy some primeval urge?
Because nearly everyone on here wants us to be like other teams and have primeval urges and twat players etc .
Lundstrum took up the Seri role and atot times showed he some of the skills required to emulate that master. And given time may well emualte him but at the moment he has a long way to go before he gets there. At one poiint he almost emulated a Seri calamity when he got a ridiculous pass from Pandur that could have led to a Coventry goal
I see Vaughan not even on the bench if he was not injured seems to be a casualty of the influx of players. If thats the case its a shame.
We have been a soft team that gets bullied & pushed around for years. I welcome the new approach of some big hard bastards in the team
Getting into players heads can reap rewards. And you could see Rushworth lost his head. Was just after that he threw the ball out and it looped miles in the air. Not what he intended. Next time a rush of blood could lead to a goal or oppo player getting sent off.
Think it's more like years of seeing us getting effectively bullied and out-****housed and not having that in our own locker. It is entirely possible to rattle the opposition into making rash decisions either by ****ing up leading to a chance or getting themselves sent off.
