http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...eful-training-ground-prank-article707855.html What a wonderful human being.
"Under British law Cole could be charged with actual bodily harm, which carries a maximum penalty of five years' imprisonment and an unlimited fine." Anyone else would be in serious trouble, just because he has money and can afford the best defence solicitors shouldn't matter. Don't bend down for the soap Ashley.
Not one to defend that **** at all, but this sort of **** ****s me off. Yes, he's an absolute chopper for doing it but I've been shot by a .22 from a couple of yards and it ****ing hurts, but it's not going to kill you. Now, 'high-powered rifle' and 'deadly .22 air gun' is just sensationalism at it's worst. Bruising and breaking of the skin at worst. You can kill someone by hitting them in the eye, temple or ear point blank. Sue? Maybe he can pay him ã5,000 a week for the duration of his contract. (See what I did there?)
John the .22 round has different uses and different calibers. Some see limited use by police and military snipers. Such use is not to tickle but to cause harm. In short Cole is a prat.
please log in to view this image Must be true if its in the Mirror although Ash can be a prat at times and probably thought that Cowens was Cheryl's Mother
Nothing'll happen. He'll get one of those high priced celeb breifs that'll get him off with nothing more than an insincere appology, you know the sort: 'deeply regret my actions...in no way condone...accept my punishment...last few weeks have been very difficult...blah blah'. My brother in law was walking home to my house with my wife one night and 3 pissheads started on them - he managed to chin one of them and abseloute beaut, knocked 2 of his teeth out, but took a hell of a hiding. Despite the fact that my Missus provided a witness statement, in was on CCTV and he was clearly defending my wife / himself, he ended up with a 700 quid fine and missed out on 6 months for ABH by the skin of his teeth....because like rest of us normal mugs who pay the wages of scum like Cole, he hasn't got the money to be able to manipulate the 'justice' sysytem in this country. This ****wit is the epitomie of everything thats wrong with the modern footballer, I despise the ****er. Just hope theres a Spuds fan working in the kitchens that'll put powdered glass in his food.
Err, I've grown up on farms so am well aware ta. .22 is the caliber, if it was live, yes of course, that could kill. Used a few .22 bolt rifles before. No air rifle is used by armed forces One thing you are roght about is the form of the pellet (If that's what you meant). A flat one would do a lot less damage than a pointed or round one I'd imagine. I got shot with a round one. It did not go through denim.
He should b sent to prison. A lad in the town I used to live in got 2 years and anothr suspended for shooting someone with an air rifle. Why havnt chelsea sacked him aswell? I mean this is far more serious that Adrian Mutu's coke habit yet your club sacked him.
I'm not entirely sure on this but I thought if lets say I slapped you and put you in hospital If you didn't press charges the police could not get involved unless any statutory laws had been broken which in this case there had not. Thank God for common sense and a big **** off wad of cash
The police can get involved if they wish and interview people regardless if a complaint has been forthcoming but only if there is evidence to put to the suspect i.e. CCTV or witness statements. Be a pretty short interview otherwise!! Looks like the young fella decided not to make a complaint and no witnesses came forward. No point in the police carrying out an investigation as the CPS would never run with it.
Given it was an accident it wasn't legally assault, so the only charge could have been actual bodily harm. But as the fella that was shot was only grazed, treated by the club's medic and didn't have to go to hospital it might not even class as ABH in law - superficial wounds aren't classed as actual bodily harm. I guess the police decided having the entire country take the piss out of him about it for a few weeks was punishment enough!
Ashley Cole didn't realise that the Air Rifle was loaded so it was an accident and he apologised to the work experience lad afterwards. Cole just wanted to show off the Air Rifle to his team mates.
