But if we were basing things on the first games of the season, nor would Ipswich... You're getting worried far, far, far too soon.
Just calling it how it was... which most would agree was poor. I'm fully aware there is time to change the squad up, which we desperately need. As for Still, he of course needs time and I'd never make a judgement (good or bad) until he has had a fair crack.
I don't think it was poor. It was the basics of a squad still getting to grips with everything new in the first game of a season. We'll be fine. I thought it was actually pretty encouraging.
When I made that flippant remark about the Referee (Message #54) I didn't expect it to be accurate. He appeared to be strongly favouring Wrexham with his decision making, he seemed to improve after JS gave him a severe ear bashing early in the second half while they were waiting for a free kick to be taken!
I was on the beach in Newquay, forgot all about the match. Pleasantly surprised as I checked my phone at maccy d’s. Great start, we have no idea how good Wrexham are though.
I don`t think we were as bad as some are describing. I thought everyone contributed to the win except Sugawara - he was woeful. He is a poor defender, makes too many mistakes and seems to be 10 yards from where he should be at any moment. I noticed Downes berating him in the first half.

I thought the first half on the whole was really poor tbf. Looked terrified out of possession and a bit too rushed and predictable in it. Doesn't matter now though and we were much loads better second.
