Imagine if we start with Lascelles against Villa.

I hope we sign Wissa this weekend so he actually gets the chance to play with the lads in training.

 

No idea why anyone thinks we’re signing Wissa. The lad they’re after is (Ouattara) is a winger and a replacement for Mbuemo.

We are in serious trouble this season. And we know with our transfer “team” we won’t be getting anyone January either.

 

Thiaw (RCB) and Elanga (RW) were required Wissa/another CF (Wilson replacement) and Ramsdale (Dubravka upgrade) would mean it’s a decent window- only issue is the reintegration of Isak and we’ll be alright

You're completely right.

We'll be in the bottom 3 and maybe even 20th after 3 games.... Once you're down there and playing 3 a week we'll struggle to pull away from it.

We're in for a rough ride for quite a little while before we get going this season.

 

We desperately need a goalscorer.

 

Good sides have goals from up front, midfield, and even defenders.

Newcastle have no goals from anywhere.

That's a recruitment fail.

I can see us getting 3 points maximum from our opening 4 games.

 

The 1st game will be an annihilation... Villa still pissed off about being robbed of champions league football and will trample over our lads... 3 or 4 goal margin defeat.

Newcastle have no goals anywhere except Barnes and he's not great at anything else.

 

I think we would be lucky if we are mid table by Christmas. I don’t think we will be down there mind after 7 games.

It's going to be like old times for a while and then if Howe ever gets around to playing the new players things will pick up.

No goals in a PL side is actually a relegation issue.

 

A couple of seasons ago we were scoring goals for fun. We were entertaining. But we now seem to be boring.

Playing very slow: passing at the back for the sake of it. We used to hit teams hard. What happened to intensity is our identity?

 

We're just a bit bland at the moment.. Unfortunately signings will come late so we'll be off to a diabolical start and then we'll be stuck in the bottom half quick sand.

 

We'll sell all our players and get relegated.

 

We'll win the league and the cartel will start crying.

 

First 3 will be defeats. Point at home to Wolves.
