I love the fact that Stephens, Manning and Baz, our three most maligned players, were key for us today. Of course we weren’t at our best, but until the squad is settled we won’t be. What we showed was heart, fitness, and the bare bones of a side that once it clicks, will be very good in this division.
Who cares? Moments like this is why we love football. 1st game of the season with a new manager. It will take time. In the end we've got 3 points. It doesn't matter how we got them. UTFS!

I didn't watch the match today, not sure if you did but from your comment, it looks like you have basically just timed between their goal and our first and deduced we were ****! Listening on the radio and reading the BBC updates and looking at the stats, there is no way we only played well for 30 mins!
We were nowhere near as some are making out. We got a bit of luck with Wrexham’s bad finishing in the first half but Wrexham got lucky for 90 minutes with our bad finishing. Throw into the mix the two nailed on penalties we should have had, this was a very good win. Absolutely tremendous save at the end by Bazunu, which backed up his sharpness in the preseason games.
