    Got away with today. We should not gloss over that was so poor. But mom captain fantastic, will make a few on hear eat some unpleasant words. Special mention for Manning his attacking intent was excellent. Still a huge improvement needed

    After my wife and me nearly dying last Saturday this has cheered me up.

    I'm sure there's some folk who'll have a good old moan about something but Southampton FC were losing 1-0 and won a game - at home.

    Take that in.

    Said it a week or so ago, look at the early games from last Champ season against Plymouth and Sheff Weds we weren’t great but got late winners in both which I think shifted mentality early on which is crucial. Make no qualms about it, we were **** today but got the win, you’d hope we’d only get better from here

    Well that was sweet....Manning! What a free. Fantastic touch and awareness for the cross too. Delighted for Gav too for that big save and Stephens who has been much derided but was superb today
