First games of the season are always like that. Enjoyed the game, lots of intensity from Birmingham, thought Ipswich were poor.
From the bits I watched my impression will be that Brum will be very strong at home in quite an atmosphere. Ipswich looked ordinary.
Wrexham were winning at Southampton despite having just one shot on target (a penalty!) compared to Southamptons 9 shots on target and 76% of the possession Now 1-1 but it took 90 minutes for Southampton to score !
Good. With due apologies and acknowledgment to the genuine Wrexham fans who have supported them through thick and thin over the years, I can’t stand the fact that this artificially boosted plastic side has bought its way to the second tier of English football, whereas the vast majority of the rest of us clubs have fought and struggled our way there with FFP’s foot firmly on our heads. Fk them. If there is one club I want to see relegated it’s them. Sorry genuine Wrexham fans - I hope you understand why I feel this way.
Bang on, couldn’t agree more ! I hope we stuff them home and away when we play them Something very fishy and unwholesome about it all
Just to add…. A friend of a friend is a Wrexham fan of old. He was at the racecourse ground on cold wet midweek evenings watching them play Dagenham and Redbridge etc. He supported them when they really needed the support. Now he can’t get a ticket.
dont tempt fate!!! keep it to yourself!...lol it is OK BUYING IN A WHOLE NEW TEAM!! spending £'s millions [ the AMERICAN way! ] but you need a manager! think he will go as one of this seasons firsts! Now in a division where they play against "quality" players.. today they basically parked the bus? Bravo Soton playing 3-2-5/ 3-1-6 it paid off latter part as game progressed, it worked!
If anyone wants to join, your team needs to be entered by 6:30pm on Friday. All the details are in the link below. https://not606.com/threads/fantasy-football-25-26.418874/

Although it’s only one game this season, it’s no surprise teams are looking at Ross. A very very good player at this level, only injuries have held him back from standing out more. I’d like to think he’s worth closer to £5m tbh. We’d be a lot poorer for losing him, as I doubt we’d replace him adequately, if at all…
I really rate RM. His game reminds me of Joe Bryan a bit - except Ross can also defend really well too!
7 championship clubs exit EFL cup going to be at least 8 as 4 play tonight! should we actually play to win this ... Wembly target ... we could with the depth of about a dozen strong teams finish 7th! and we dont know what the FA CUP MIGHT BRING!
