I hear the referee is coming out in his Deadpool costume second half. Still a lot to go in this game. Obvious move is to get a physical presence up top (Downs/Stewart). I doubt Wrexham will keep these energy levels up in the second half, as they have a lot of new players that haven’t been there long, so fitness could come into play. You’d imagine we’ll have a chance to bring our cheat code on too.
I hate having a pop at refs…. By my god, his positioning and decision making is quite frankly awful.. However, it’s still no where as near as bad as the quite learnt one sided commentary…!!!
Have a day off. We've been more direct, balls into the box and shooting in one game than the whole of Martin's tenure.
His head dropped after the pen. Watch him off the ball and he keeps looking at the turf. And his indecision nearly cost us a second goal as the half ended.
