I was there. Sod's law, we were drawn to play them in the cup that season after we'd sold Chris Chilton to them. Felt really sorry for him that day, he looked absolutely lost.
Thank f**** football is back. I feel this is a particularly exciting championship season. And City will hold their own, maybe even do something special.
Slightly surprised McBurnie hasn’t gone straight in but having him and Gelhardt to come on if needed is really promising. Looking forward to seeing what Ndala can do. Feel like we’re still missing a bit of magic from that midfield, looks solid but maybe lacking a bit of creativity? We’ll see. Glad the season is back so we can stop theorising and actually see what happens!
know there's been loads of talk.....but genuinely hadn't realised that Gelhardt had been confirmed.....must have missed that actual snippet of transfer info in amongst the pages and pages of intellectual sparring that so brighten these pages
A big weight on Joseph's shoulders leading the line up front but stranger things have happened...Good luck to him and at least he'll be playing where he should be,not out on the wing. Tough game to kick off a new dawning but we won't lack effort so who knows...UTT!!

Thought Vaughan had done well in pre season, surprised he isn’t on the bench. Only really Brown on there for winger substitutions
Probably about the strongest 11 excluding the new arrivals this week I guess Crook's will play in the 10, probably Joffy replace him at 60 minutes.with Ollie coming on for Joseph. Just listening to Tiger+, sounds as if Burnsey is back.
