I'm not so sure because either 1. If he rules are found unlawful the Premier League will simply say it's on narrow points and vote in apt3.. Another challenge required. 2. The big 6 clubs will use it as an excuse to push through the super league. The world has decided you can't have 'Newcastle' being able to spend more than everyone else... After 30 years of 6 clubs being able to spend more than Newcastle! It is impossible to win an argument with a nation that's taking that position at the heart of their argument. Before anyone says it... The big 6 aren't leaving the Premier league if the super league happens... I can't actually believe I keep hearing people say that.
Anyway let's just hope for some signings, which I'm sure we'll get. The financial ****housery will only drive you mad. It's wrong, but it's not going away.
When APT 2 is ruled unlawful they will not be able to vote in APT 3 because it wil need to include retrospective interest on shareholder loans that the likes of Arsenal have benefited from. That will push them over the PSR threshold. APT impacts PSR. APT's have to be assessed independently to be fair. Currently the PL does the assessment and is subject to bias. That's the whole point of the APT cases.
If i didn't turn up for work on Monday or refuse to do my job because I was pissed off with the place I'd be subject to summary dismissal. Isak is lucky. Still paid for doing **** all.
In that event the big 6 will threaten option 2... Theres simply not going to be a situation where these clubs are put at risk of being in a competition.
https://stefanborson.substack.com/p/the-premier-league-cant-risk-an-apt2 Yes I’ve just read this article which is quite a simple but good overview.
Which is why we need a case that tackles the very foundation of PSR rules. A ruling that makes PL PSR rules unlawful due to a cartel abusing their dominant position to prevent competition. That happens it changes massively. The big six are breaking the law. Current rules mean that any dispute must go through Rule X proceedings - Arbitration. This process is secretive and against the principle of natural justice. What we need is for cases to go to the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Expose this absolute sham of a competition for what it really is - an agreement by 6 clubs to monopolise their position at the expense of everyone else.
I really can't be arsed with apt2.... It's clear we've been holding onto this idea we'll one day unlock the Saudi money. It's quite simply never going to happen guys, so we've just got to accept being a prentender club... We'll have some good times and some bad one's, but we'll never be the best or without hope, so that'll do.
I'm fully aware, but like I say they'll just peddle the other narrative and threaten a super league. You're never going to wake up one day and everyone say it's all wrong and Newcastle should be able to spend loads too.
There you go % not an actual set value for all clubs.. All different amounts based on that word again 'revenue' The rules will get worse not better.. SCR allows for instant penalties
