nope, football is a 'mans game' (said with no disrespect to the womans game) and every one of these lads has to man up, if they get upset because they have not been picked then they need to get out on the training pitch and force RLB to make a choice...if they are going to sit and whine on to anybody who will listen then they are no use to us.
I really don’t think it’ll impact the lads morale or anything like that. If they were going to have to travel to Germany for 24 hours just to play 10 minutes, they’d rather play 90 and stay here imo. I think that makes more sense then splitting the squad in two and not getting the starters more minutes together
**** me Lucas Hernandez would be some pickup mind. Absolute horse **** link of course. 260k week for a start
Tbh mate I'd be more pissed off if I'd bought a ticket to the home game under the premise it would be the 1st Eleven. (I haven't I don't like pre season games, probably why I'm a bit blasé about it) Each to their own really. I dont think there's a right or wrong in this situation tbh
People doubting how ended last season playing our weakened team to get minutes just in case, the club know what's best, strange how some perceive Neil playing at the Sol tomorrow means he's bombed but what if le fee does? Guiu is playing by all accounts too Again it's just a warm up, I will thoroughly enjoy a day of football and beer Sunday whoever is playing Might take me boots
There were rumour he was wanting to leave a few weeks ago and he rubbished them but he was also getting a fair bit of abuse from their fans. Wouldn't be surprised to see him leave PSG this season. I would be astounded for him to turn up on Wearside.
Yep, although it’s partly why I’m so worried about the massive squad we seem to be building. Just doesn’t fit with the way the manager works - and the players will realise that better than anyone.
Aye he could certainly leave, but he isn’t giving up 70% of his salary to come to Sunderland. Would be a dream. Lefty too. Absolutely zero chance on this one.
@FabrizioRomano Official, confirmed. Gonzalo García signs new deal at Real Madrid until June 2030. No plans to let him leave after becoming top scorer at Club World Cup and really appreciated by Xabi Alonso.
Exactly mate, I’m only probably baffled by the decision because of the big turnover of players who don’t have a feel for the stadium more than once,if it was our second season in the league with practically the same squad then don’t think it would matter
I get what you mean and you may be right but how much of a feel would you get Sunday quarter full SOL barely an atmosphere be totally different Arena come next week
