I'm guessing that although he plays in Russia, he isn't a Russian citizen so shouldn't be any issues with getting a work permit.

Obviously its not banned, but I am surprised that a British entity is able to do any form of trade with a Russian entity so freely, even if it is just football.

 

He only has a year left on his contract with Krasnodar so we can definitely afford him.

Saw him live Vs Wales and knew nothing about him. Oozed class and best player on the pitch. Properly excited about this one. Fingers crossed!!

 

I'm looking at previous Russian transfers out to European teams in the last year and teams from Spain, Germany, Italy, France and England have signed Russian based players (albeit the English one was a loan) so we certainly wouldn't have any issues with FIFA if we were to make an offer for Spertsyan.

 

Would definitely soften the blow of losing Fernandes

Never heard of him, couldn't pick him out of a line up of 2, (the other one being my Mrs) I'm not even aware of the existence of the club he plays for and I assume he'll be total ****.

With that in mind, I will fully kick off if he isn't signed at the end of the window. Fair warning.
