Cannot agree with you at all on this one. The pair of them have cost us what McBurnie has cost us and so far have proven completely totally and utterly ****e. That’s not to say they won’t improve, maybe Joseph will come on with all these new players around him, but we would be close to relegation with the pair of them! Just like last year. Don’t forget, it looks like other players are here because of the McBurnie signing, so it’s more than just a position filled imo.
I've never been McB biggest fan and I hope he delivers . What he will bring for what he has cost is someone for TSF to work with and some of the other youngsters for that matter. Come to think of it, some of the more stablished younger players too...
I think that’s why they’re after international break as opposed to early they’re not taking any risks
That’s acuns plan isn’t it and I think the best bit of recruitment done is the new manager He’s got something about him I really like. Trouble is if we don’t get promoted he’ll get the Spanish archer too
None of us know for sure whether it is or it isn't at this stage. We have shifted 18 players including Sinik who was on a wedge, Pedro's wages would have been decent etc. It's obviously given us some wiggle room and everything is subject to scrutiny by the EFL as confirmed by Jakirovic in his recent interview. Not sure they're in contact training yet even.
Don’t be so damn condescending! I’m just putting up a different side to your argument, or are you just the only one that’s correct or allowed an opinion????? It’s a ****ing discussion board as I’ve had to point out several times recently.
That’s exactly what it is because you resort to a condescending response to someone who disagrees with you as opposed to replying like a normal human
I agree to an extent, he just seems like a really exciting player. Imagine if we just went for 2 up top and had him and McBurnie causing absolute chaos in opposition defences. Back to proper old school Championship style, I feel it would blow teams away for a while.
Yeah,I like the new coach too.Lesser men would've upped stumps at the uncertainty he's had to put up with since his arrival!! He's got, what he believes, to be some quality in the Team and I'm fairly confident he'll get every ounce out of every one of them. I've no idea what this season is likely to cost in wages and what the aims are? He did quote top 10 at the recent Q&A but if it's promotion I feel it's the last fling of the dice for the Turk..
We’ve received £3:1 million this window and paid 250k for Laalaoui. We’ve got a load of wages off the books but potentially just paid this out again on fewer players. So we’re perhaps at a £2.5million profit so far. I imagine if we get the fee restriction lifted, we might bring Frigan in but move someone else out to balance the books. Selling Hughes for a big fee next Summer would then mean we’ve had a much more sustainable year.
22 hours from the season kick-off and everyone is at each other's throats as to whether wage figures that nobody knows are worth paying more to current players or previous players. Meanwhile, these newly expensive footballers face 2 scenarios. Either, they may die or be horrifically injured overnight leaving us up **** creek, or may get us promoted with no grey area in between. The game's back lads.
If restrictions are lifted and we go for Frigan then Palmer would 100% be sold in my view. Probably recoup £500k for him and a reasonable wage (£20k p/w?) off the books.
