If memory serves me correctly, this will be a difficult first home game for us. Walsall led the league for a good part of last season and for some reason fell away at the final run in. Walsall got off to a good start with their new campaign, by beating Swindon at home 2-1. I believe the game was marred by some unsavioury incidents from the visitors which has received the strongest condemnation from the club and manager. Hopefully our game although difficult will be very hospitable towards our guests, in a manner that credits out club and supporters... Anyway the prediction, I fear a loss so this will be a real test for us, we will need to rise to the challenge, so first home game bias from me... Gills 1-0 Walsall (Dack with a screamer)

Gillingham 5-0 Walsall (McKenzie x2, Gbode, Clark & Andrews) There may be a theme in my predictions this year
I was very disappointed with last week's game. Again, we failed to score. Gbode played well. Little hacked his way around again, and as for Dack, he needs to follow a new career in ballet dancing. Morris did well again, but all I can see is a draw. Read their report after the Swinetown match, sounded more like a war. Not sure where our new signings are, but we did get a point, thought the new gaffer would have had a new team out, but there we go, what do we know. 1-1
According to my tv schedule which I've copied and pasted below, yes mate. 19:45 Gillingham v AFC Wimbledon Carabao Cup Round One Sky Sports+ https://www.live-footballontv.com/popular-competitions.html
