Which is why he himself was bragging that he had 3 of his own 'personal scouts' not connected to the club and was brazenly emphasising his personal role in recruitment at the last Q&A. Obviously. Get over it!
Sad to see any Club reduced to this level and there'll be more to follow. We've been left behind by the greedy bastards in the League above us and they couldn't care less!!
So Acun sometimes lies and we can't believe a word he says, other days what he says is true. I suppose it all depends on your own narrative.
It made absolutely no sense. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a side deal going on that may or may not have resulted in some London properties in the name of Tan Kessler's wife. Allegedly.
administration is nailed on unless they get sold, they're expecting a 9 point deduction at some point this year
No, it means the evidence suggests we have a club recruitment strategy and then Acun is doing his own thing.
Baz today writes: "The club appealed the transfer fee ban and had its appeal heard by an independent panel on Wednesday, with a decision now expected to be made public next week." Mike White says something similar. So are we to assume the worst then, and the Club are suppressing/managing bad news until after the weekend? Or is this just procedural etc?
I assume that the ban isn't lifted entirely then, otherwise the EFL stringing it out for a few more days when the window is ticking down would be some petty bullshit
Why don't we just wait and see? There's been more than enough rumour mongering already. Most likely a decision is made, then it has to be written up, reviewed fully and ratified by others, then an announcement drafted, approved and published .. by which time it's got to next week.
I don't know why anyone would think we'd get an instant announcement. City presented their appeal on Wednesday the panel will then go away and discuss what was presented and compare it to previous cases etc. That will take sometime. Early next week seems perfectly normal to me.
I might be splitting hairs here but there’s the key word of “public” announcement. The club may already know the outcome of the appeal and will be conducting business accordingly while the window remains open. That is to say; working on permanent signings for now or Jan if we’ve been successful AND/OR working on more free/loan signings to satisfy the start of the season and beyond if we’re unsuccessful. The only people that could be held responsible for wasting time would be the club as they should be working on the basis of a successful appeal whilst also planning for a more negative outcome.
