It's more what it says about the intelligence of him. We all talked **** at 16, but posting videos calling someone with a small speech impediment a mong. Well I didn't do that. He is not that much older now.
Some of the challenges he was on the receiving end of in an academy match shortly after that were pretty hilarious, mind...
Jack Pitt-Brook and Guillermo Rai are both linking us with Como midfielder Nico Paz...though claim Como aren't interested in selling Given he can play as an AM or CM, he ticks some boxes...unless you're one of the ever-growing number of weirdos in our fanbase who reject any player out of hand if they weren't born before an arbitrary year which they never seem to specify
True but we grew up without social media, so nothing we said carried beyond our immediate circle of friends. There's every chance he had no idea what the full implication of that word was. If anything, Bentancur's comment about Son is worse, as he is in his late twenties and has a young family.
I agree about the Bentancur comments. If he wasn’t already at Sours and the club were linked with him then I’d avoid him for that reason too.
Interesting player with good stock and already capped by Argentina and came through the Real Madrid academy. My only worry is his lack of experience. I’d rather see Spurs get someone closer to their peak than another one with huge potential. As always it comes back to money. If Spurs could get Grealish and Paz then I’d be more happy with that as between them they tick all boxes.
1.) Spurs Express. Seriously? 2.) I will be fifty whole pence this is agent talk to drive up the price, given how often we've been namedropped in other teams' transfer dealings this summer (i.e. when PSG were in negotiations with Ilya Zabarnyi last week and we apparently had £70m kicking around)
Spent years mugging Richarlison off only to see him sign for my club. Now the guy I’ve been ribbing for almost two years gets linked. Might as well sign Hojlund too and make it the unholy trinity of strikers.
Honestly think Hojlund could be a good striker in the right system Atalanta certainly could make something out of him, given they got a tune former West Scam misfit Gianluca Scamacca a couple of seasons back
He has been a great striker at his previous clubs, this is reminicent of pre-Fergie days when we bought some of the best strikers in the land and for some reason they all failed. Either bad systems for the players we bought and managers who just didn't realise that or rediculouse bad luck
I think a move back to Italy would suit him. That style seems better for him. He looks lost at Utd and his confidence is probably shot.
