Yep IMO. He just comes across as "I am the greatest and these low level athletes are all plebs" all the time. I can't believe that he does pep talks in the dressing room for example. Yes, he was a great NFL player and a bit of a machine and was top of HIS game. That game being NFL not football. Different disciplines, culture and ultimately skills required to succeed. I get there is a crossover that athletes are a different breed when it comes to mentality, but how many NFL games end 0-0 and and how many play for 0-0 for example. Different mindsets.
I suspect you get that with a lot of Americans. It's that exaggerated optimism/American bravado that they are probably accustom to or think is great, but the English/Brits just don't resonate with at all.
But contrast that with Wrexham and as I said before, you end up secretly rooting for them as the owners have done more outside the club for the area etc.

Sugawara over Bree for me. Sugawara's attacking and crossing abilities will be key against a team that will sit back.
What’s making me more nervous than normal is I haven't got a clue who we will be playing, what formation and what style. Pre season has given few clues as to how this season is going to go apart from the combo of Armstrong, Fraser and Archer behind a striker is utterly useless despite having tried it on numerous occasions.
Yeah it will be very frustrating if we start with Armstrong on the wing. I would really love to know how much Still has watched of the last few seasons because you would hope anyone that has done research would instantly try and avoid that from happening as, like you said, at this point it's been overdone with no positive results. I cannot stand the trend of managers wanting to come in to make their own assessments when you have seasons of proof with Saints as to what really should be changed by now.
I know it's fashionable to hate on Armstrong, but didn't he get 30-odd goal contributions playing off the wing last championship season? Most clubs would love to have him as an option at this level.
