Basic contract law does not mean if you don't pay for something you get out of a contractual agreement. If I don't pay my mortgage for the month the bank doesn't just say "Ah well no harm, we'll just tear this mortgage deed up" they come after you for the money you owe them..

Unless we go up Pandur and Hughes will be gone, they’ll have to do to keep the club going. The difficult thing is replacing them, the bright clubs like Brighton will have already identified a target or got the replacement in their ranks.
