If it was only one I'd go for Buonanotte as long its a transfer not a loan with no option. From what I saw the few timesi watched him was pure class, his close control was awesome, shouldn't judge on only a few views but he really looked the part
Supposedly, Brighton have two offers, one from a German side who want an option to buy, it was flatly refused. They said they want to loan him to another PL side so he gains experience. This lad isn’t having any options built in by the sound of it
Then I'd give it a swerve, we turned Ben White into a £50m player for them, better than the £5m he was worth before that
Staying up is more important than making Brighton coin at the moment, and if he improves them team and gives us money to spend elsewhere then it's a no brainer for me
There are only three teams that would consider a loan with no option and that’s the promoted teams. Sunderland have one loan and an abundance of attacking players, Burnley had to purchase a lot of their loan options this season, he’s going to either end up with us or abroad. I’d go for the Leicester lad, same reason as you point out
I think he's mine anyway. Yes the creative spark we will need in amongst the grafters. Id honestly take both though and be happy Raph almost got relegated with us, good players can go down in **** teams
Club are saying publicly that they want upgrades on the wingers they already have. Ben Doak for £20 million sounds like a load of bollocks then. Man City want £40 million for McAtee. Its too much.
Doak had probably his worst game of the season at elland road last year. Every other time I saw him, he was unplayable. Obviously very young and pretty raw. Main concern was he was crocked for the last half of the season. If fit, he’d be worth a punt to see if he can cut it a level up. We have seemingly shifted our attention (if there is any substance to these latest rumours) to available kids after previously setting our stall out for proven mature players.
The only reason McAtee is still at citeh is no ones paying that, he'll go somewhere, probably Villa for half that on deadline day
Yep. That's where patience might just pay off. I dont see us doing much before Everton but the last week of the transfer window could get busy as clubs finalise their deals.
Seems our list, if we ever really had one has been ignored by every forward player. So it’s now squeaky bum time and trying to save face for the 49ers. Yes a couple of weeks to go but lets face it we have been gazumped, used by agents to get better moves to other clubs, and now we are fiddling about with kiddies from clubs who want to give them experience. We have improved the keeper, the defence and the middle but we do not have enough to survive without a big hitter up top and a creator to replace/upgrade Solomon
Mateo joseph pictured at mallorca airport. Medical tomorrow. Could debut in a friendly on saturday. Season long loan, no option to buy.( but there always is).
Don’t bother with option to buy for Spanish clubs, they never pay the agreed price. Also of note, it would be good to still have Farke in charge at the end of the loan as it would mean we were not relegated. If he isn’t here Joseph might still have a future despite how we feel about him now
