Seemed a harmless initiative for people to give their tickets to people who want them, as all their mates already have them or didnt have anyone else to pass it on to Has the club said anything with regards to selling unused tickets back to the club?
Had a peek at the ignored. Seems the person causing bother already on my ignore list. What a coincidence. Possibly this can be handled on a What's App group instead?
It certainly is a joke mate, some of these people are laughable. Grown men slaver round a username, 'Hetty', they assume is a woman, they probably have a picture in their mind of how she looks The reality of this is that it won't change a thing for posters on here, we'll help each other exactly as we've always done. There's nothing the club can actually do and probably wouldn't even want to. "Did you give an SC you couldn't use to another Sunderland supporter who can hardly ever get?" "Yes your honour." "Well can you bear me in mind next time, it's hard to get to games when I have all these court duties to deal with."
It's already on a private message thread mate, loads of people involved and others can be added. Some people are really bitter and twisted aren't they ... ... way too much time on forums and the internet.
What a set of miserable kernts reporting something like that - a simple but brilliant idea to help out fellow supporters ruined by some tosspot jobsworth who probably isn’t clever enough to come up with an idea like that in the first place
If you ever wondered what people look like, who spend all day, every day, going through one forum after another … … here are two typical specimens Roker-73 Midfield 26 minutes ago ‘People otr boasting that they’ve just taken their ticket sharing plan to a private message’ Hawkings Boots Striker 4 minutes ago Roker-73 said: ‘Hope they get caught out and lose all their points’
What’ll break their little hearts is that there's absolutely nothing they can do … … anyway, what time will you be at Sheepfolds and are you eating before the match
I bet some of these people would’ve been the first to report others not wearing masks during covid as well.
I have no interest in clicking any link or reading that place at all however, I don't see any issues. It was simply to help fans out and stop any ticket going to waste.
Couldn’t be less surprised. Classic, isn't it? Same sort of folk who were peeking through the curtains and phoning the polis if they saw a bbq during lockdown. The authorities don’t even need to lift a finger when we’ve got a nation full of joyless volunteer informants. Just helping people get to the match – no profit, no scam, sharing tickets so fans could actually be there. But nah, can’t have that. Someone always ready to step in and do the dirty work, like it’s East Germany in 1983. As a nation we really are brilliant at making life harder for each other.
That's quite a brilliant analogy mate. Yes, it's just like East Germany with people spying on their neighbours and trying to ingratiate themselves. I spent a little time pondering what you said and finally realised I'd worked out what Roker-73 and Hawkings Boots actually are ... ... they're arseholes. The kind of sad little creeps who couldn't have existed in the Durham pit villages. They'd have been outed as weirdos and shunned by people ... ... but they can exist on the internet because they can find a dark little corner to hide in.
It now turns out that 'Hetty the Snitch' has been posting lies about tickets sent back by branches that subsequently vanish ... ... time the club were informed. It's very easy to criticise ticket office staff, without any credible information, but there'll be consequences. This weirdo isn't the only person with contacts inside the club as some of you may know.
No way a branch has returned tickets due to a bus, they would speak to another branch and share or increase the bus fee. Tickets are hard enough to come by without people spreading false information
This 'Hetty' character may be able to intimidate or fool some of the dummies on RTG ... ... but some of us aren't so ready to be dictated to. They've made an enemy now and they'll be pulled up every time they lie
